New Initiative Directs More Funds To Salmon Habitat Programs
The Victoria Boat & Fishing Show is getting ready for its 24th year of bringing outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts together at the Pearkes Recreation Centre on Tillicum Road in Victoria.

PEETZ Outdoors is pleased to report it will join the Pacific Salmon Foundation (“PSF”) booth over the weekend and will be donating a 5 inch Evolution Reel with a Flasher & Lure Package for PSF’s weekend draw. Come on down to the booth for a visit and make sure you enter!
New Initiative with PSF
PEETZ is also excited to introduce its new program that will see an even greater percentage of online reel sales donated to the REEL CHANGE Program. This initiative with PSF, which began in 2015, PEETZ has committed to direct a portion of all online trolling reel sales to PSF’s salmon conservation programs throughout the Pacific Northwest.
At the 2016 Victoria Boat & Fishing Show, PEETZ will provide the first look at the new fishing evolution reels that will carry the PSF logo. Using the code “PSFSALMON10“, you can get 10% off these specially branded reels online and an additional 10% of proceeds will be directed to salmon conservation and habitat restoration via PSF initiatives.
Victoria Boat & Fishing Show Exhibitors
This 3-day event features more than 40 exhibitors representing the best of fishing, gaming and boating on Vancouver Island. There will be an archery range, fishing pond and an indoor air gun range for a weekend of learning and fun.

An extensive seminar schedule begins on Friday touching topics such as Trolling for Salmon, and Introduction to Archery, continue through the weekend with more great talks and tips about Halibut fishing, Salmon trolling, and more. Check out the full schedule of seminars so you can plan your day accordingly.

The show will run from February 19 -21, 2016, with doors opening at 1pm on Friday. Event hours are Friday 1pm to 8pm; Saturday 10 am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

Admission is by cash only at the entrance: adults pay $9, seniors $7 and children under 18 are free. Save a further $2 by bringing a donation of a non-perishable food item.
