Mooch Sinker with Bead Chain

Bead Chain Mooch sinkers (also called "banana sinkers") are generally run with a 6 to 8 foot leader to bait (whole herring/anchovy, cut plug herring/anchovy or herring strips). The bait can be jigged or left to sway lazily under a stationary or drifting boat at a preferred depth. Cut plug bait can also be trolled slowly using these sinkers.

This model comes with a bead chain on one end to enable more bait action.  Some anglers also believe the chain also adds a fish attracting rattle.

These sinkers feature high quality brass eyes and nickel plated brass swivels / bead swivels. They are handmade by PEETZ Outdoors in Canada using 100% pure recycled lead.
