Been using Peetz reels since I was a kid. Took my reels here last year to get refurbished and they turned out beautifully. I live out of province so I always make a point to stop by when I'm in town. From what I understand, Peetz is under new ownership and Robert has done a great job with the shop. I use CJ spinners for salmon and lake trout and they're the best lures ive used. Used them on Cold Lake the other week and caught 30 lakers in about 10 hrs of fishing.

I have a few Peetz reels I've acquired over the years and I cannot stop sounding praises of the staff whenever I drop in for an annual tune-up or an overhaul. The reels are returned to me looking more like works of art and perform flawlessly. There is nothing more satisfying of the sound a salmon makes when it strips out line from my Peetz reel, except maybe only when it is my first time fishing after getting it back from the shop. It not only sounds great, it looks fantastic too! Paired with a Hookum spoon, talk about a deadly duo. Next time you're down Victoria way, drop in for a visit!

I love my New 5" Evolution so much, we had my Father's 6" Classic upgraded to the Evolution drag system and refurbished. Peetz did a beautiful job. Both reels outperform many popular reels on the water. When I had introduced a problem into my 5", Peetz was more than helpful and very courtious in repairing and getting my Reel back to me in a timely fashion. Highly recommend thier products!

Peetz reels are the best! I would never use anything else. Recently took my old reels to them and had them refurbished. They look and work like new.

Craftsman come out and talk to you while they make reels and lures in the back. Cool oldschool wooden reels
